Best Brunch Spots:

  1. Agrodolce
    • Fried chicken and waffles with Skagit River Ranch bacon and bottomless mimosas. What more remains to be said? If you are not into standard brunch items, the lamb burger will do you real good. Brunch is served Sat-Sun 10 to 2:30.
  2. Ba Bar
    • Ba Bar’s newly restructured breakfast menu includes more authentic Vietnamese classics, like hangover-curing congees and the spicy Bún Bò Huế soup with beef shank. It’s available for early risers, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. daily.
  3. Boat Street Kitchen
    • Renee Erickson may be gone, but Susan Kaplan’s brunch program remains superb at Boat Street Kitchen. The bread pudding lives, Saturdays and Sundays, just as before.
  4. Brass Tacks
    • One of the few places in Georgetown to grab a proper Sunday brunch, Brass Tacks ups the ante with a DJ who spins classic R&B hits while patrons enjoy corned beef hash and pork flank steak and eggs. There’s also the house infused bloody Mary and fresh squeezed (generous) mimosas. It’s a family affair here, so bring the kiddos! Brunch is served Saturday 11 to 4 and Sunday 10 to 4.
  5. Joule
    • Joule is a brunch lover’s delight. For $17, you get access to a rotating buffet plus an entree-sized breakfast dish of your choice. Brunch is served Sat-Sun 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  6. Ma’ono Fried Chicken & Whisky
    • Coconut French toast, curry-bacon fried rice and eggs, and generously portioned loco moco (not to mention bottomless mimosa) have been giving folks a solid excuse to cross the West Seattle Bridge for years. Brunch is served Sat-Sun 9:30 to 3.
  7. Sitka and Spruce
    • This quintessential Seattle restaurant can take something as simple as a bowl of peaches and yogurt and make it somehow transcendent. However, the menu also contains more intricate, inventive items that showcase grains and seasonal Northwest ingredients. Brunch is served Sat-Sun 10 to 2.
